As it is said “old is gold” we should not underestimate the relevance of wise old sayings in modern times. Some of them are really informational and inspirational like:

“ A friend in need is a friend indeed”
“You reap what you sow”
“Health is wealth”
“After dinner rest a while; after supper walk a mile”
“Eat to live, not live to eat”
“Feed a cold and starve a fever”
“When one is hungry, everything tastes good”
“Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint”

Can you add some more old sayings which has relevance at all times.

Few of those old sayings I can remember are:

Instead of give a man fish everyday better teach him how to fish.
The young shall grow.
To overcome any task you must put in required sufficient energy.
Rome was not built in a day.
