Hello everyone,

Today I will be providing you with information to prevent being scammed. There are many scammers out in the world and members need to be careful of such. Being scammed is never fun and really causes tons of stress on someone.

Tips to prevent being scammed:

1). Do not deal offsite. - While dealing offsite is an easier and quicker way to get deals done, it's highly recommended that you deal onsite. The reason for such is due to the fact that you will have solid evidence of the member scamming thus allowing us staff to propose a ban if necessary. Also, being onsite also allows us to confirm any suspicion that may arise in regards to the deal.

2). Check previous sales. - Does the user have prior sales to you? Does the user have any feedback? If a user doesn't have any feedback in regards to the product or service being offered by them, be wary. Feedback is a crucial part in the marketplace and without it, a user may be somewhat suspicious.

3). Use a trusted middleman. - If you're suspicious about a certain user, use a middleman. There will be threads where staff and other trusted members offer a middleman service. A middleman is someone who takes both parties side of the deal and transfers it to the proper party without any issues.

This thread is subject to edit as I come up with more ideas. Staff is more than welcome to edit this if they see anything that requires modification or even addition.

Regards,
Shark
