PS4 is better internally as we all know but then it goes to the games, system software and fan base. Xbox will always have better online/multiplayer base while PS will have better single player games as PS3 stood tall on.

I like PS4 even though I'm an Xbox guy.

The PS4 beats the Xbox One graphics wise and performance wise. And this is coming from a Microsoft fanboy(guy), I usually side with Microsoft on such discussions but I've got to say it, PS4 has beaten the Xbox One. The Xbox Live is much more enjoyable though.

As Zokrin said the PS4 specs are better than the Xbox One specs but that isn't the only reason I bought a PS4. I bought a PS4 because I heard of the Geiki game streaming thing pretty early and I never played any of the great PS3 games.

I got my PS4 on the midnight release and since then I've never had a single boring moment in front of my TV. The graphic is a huge improvement from the older consoles. I'd say PS4 over Xbox One.

My reaction as a PC Gamer:
Seriously though, I don't like anything about consoles. Recently I plugged in my old xbox360 to m tv so I could watch Netflix. It said I had to pay the monthly membership fee just to use my own internet connection. Personally I think consoles are a rip for your money. I was amazed when I first joined steam and got so many games for a low price. Not to mention those terrible FPS rates on consoles. If you like consoles, that's fine, I'm not gonna hate you for it :) But I've saved a ton of money on PC.

You see, on consoles, the average user has about 5-20 games. with around $30-60 for each game,, it quickly adds up to 100's of dollars for only a few games. Whereas on steam, most games are 5-20 dollars for a decent game.

Don't get me started on that playstation+ 'free games'. yeah, pay a annual fee and they're free.

Bottom line is, a low-end gaming PC will do what a console can better

PC all the way.

Hehe... No but really to answer the OP's question, I believe the PS4 is the winner for this generation of consoles. I usually am an Xbox fanboy when it comes to consoles, but yeah, PS4 is better graphics wise, performance wise, and in my opinion, physical design-wise as well.

However, I no longer play consoles, so I don't have to worry about comparing anything really. My overclocked SLI GTX 670's kick the shit out of the Xbone and PS4 combined, I bet.

I think PS4 is likely gonna win this generation.
I can be considered a Microsoft fanboy at times, but the launch for the Xbox likely screwed it, and not to mention the Kinect which hardly anyone wants.
Unless Microsoft drops the kinect, and starts unloading in more countries then the Xbox One is gonna be on life support this generation.
(Dropping the kinect would drop the price about $100 evening it out with the price of a PS4)
Though I like the Xbox Live service a lot more than the playstation service.

My vote goes to the Playstation.
I found the Xbox One to be very disappointing.
