Do you play any MMORPGs? If so, which game is your favorite? How long have you played?

I used to really be into World of Warcraft. It was a lot of fun playing with other people. I have friends today that I made when I first started playing, years ago.

World of Warcraf? What a classic!
I am enjoying Final Fantasy XIV right now, it is a beautiful mmorpg and it has a well balanced system
I have been playing mmorpg since i was 10, 9 years ago. Oh god, how much time I have wasted.. lol.
The best thing of MMORPG is the memories you carry when you stop playing. It is awesome remembering the best moments!

Ha, yeah, it is a classic. Took the gaming world by storm. Sadly, it's lost a lot of its luster.

I really hope they institute legacy servers. I'd play the heck out of the old school version.

Yes, you can waste a lot of time gaming, but you'd probably waste that time watching TV or something else anyway. :P

I agree. The memories can be pretty great. I guess that's why legacy has such appeal for me.

I usually play AQW which is AQ worlds. It's a 2D game which makes it easy on slow computers but it is super fun. You create your character and choose of 1 of 3 classes, there are literally thousands of weapons and releases every week. There are memberships but you can do enough with a free account. For being 2D, the graphics are very nice too.

I don't recall ever hearing of that game, @MikeTheKnight. I'm glad you're having fun with it.

Is there group content to enjoy with other players, questing, dungeons? Does it offer PvP? I guess I'm curious as to what the main objective is.

You can create guilds in game by simply inviting people to your group without a cost, it does offer PvP and you can challenge anyone of any level. Right now, I believe, the main objective is to complete all chapters of a chaos book where in a certain dimension, a monster of chaos has taken over minds, bodies and lands. You must go through all of them to complete the chapters. There are tons of story lines though. You can choose.

It sounds like fun. I've never played a game where you could PvP and challenge people of all levels. How does that work? Is your character scaled up or down to match them? Maybe there just isn't as much difference in character strength between levels as there is inn other games.

I might look it up. It sounds appealing. I definitely prefer group content and playing with other people.
