So I'm on my way to a job interview, which I did get to on time, and got the job. That's beside the point. So I am driving 95 km/h (The Speed Limit is 100 km/h when I see a police car coming down the road the opposite direction as me. As he passed my car, he flicked his lights on, slammed on the breaks and pulled me over. He took my license and insurance slips (Which where all up to date and accurate) went to his car for what I'm sure was close to half an hour at the least. When he comes back he returns my information and gives me a ticket for
"Drive without due care, and attention'' with a fine of $280.00 CAD. It turns out the vehicle behind me reported that I was swerving, and driving like a fool, and the reason they did that I am sure is because I was driving to slow and they couldn't pass as traffic was crazy. I just want to know how in the world the judicial system thinks that this is fair? I am going to court for this to try and get the ticket dropped because it is bullshit, which means I already have to take a day off of a job I just started.. complete bullshit and I can't believe my first ticket is for something I didn't even do.

Wow that is unfair. Does there need to be proof to support you driving recklessly or is it just if the person "saw" it then it must be true?

The police officer said to me that, If i would like to get the ticket dropped I have to goto court, now if the person who reported me doesn't show up, or refuses to testify than the ticket is dismissed. Now if this asshole decides to go and testify I have to explain to the judge what has happened, and it is up to her/him. I called a lawyer and asked for some advice and he said all I can do is goto court and see what happens, but he strongly believes that no matter what it will be dropped as I have a perfectly clean record, he figures worst case I am instead asked to make a $50 donation to a charity.

Congratulations on the job, but that sucks regarding the ticket!
I'm going for my G2 next week, and am quite nervous. I drive slow to be cautious but sometimes I get told to speed up, so it's a weird situation at times.
Either way, I might put a camera in my car to possibly prevent situations like this in the future. (or to put a huge accident I get in on liveleak.)

Hey man! That sucks. What job did you get an interview for?

It's for a road travel EMS crew. The start is $15 an hour, with overtime (Being time and a half ($21.50 an hour)) two hours every day, and all ours after 40 a week ! So I am exited about that ! Looks like I have no excuses now not to upgrade and get some donor awards ;)

I wouldn't recommend going anyless than 5-10 km/h below the limit it pisses ppl off -_-
Good luck with your G2!
