Contemporary societies pride themselves on having attained certain kinds of knowledge that the ancient societies were unable to develope. The exact measurement of the concept of pi is one of those achievements. Pi represents the number reflecting how many times a circle's diameter may be divided into its circumference: 3.141592654 is generally given on contemporary electronic calculators

Was it just me or in sixth grade when I learned this, I tried memorizing a bunch of those numbers and getting answers wrong on tests because I tried to get as close to Pi without using it.

Pi is kind of annoying to me.

I prefer using radians over degrees in trigonometry. Angles represented by multiples and fractions of pi just seem more natural. I believe radians are superior because they help explain the relationship of pi to the circle, while the number 360 has nothing to do with the circle equations for circumference and area.
Happy pi day
