Who is a friend?

My definition of a friend is someone whom when I  am broke sends me money and when he is broke I send him money. Someone who I can wear their clothes and they wear mine too. Someone who I can talk anything to and will not take it to heart and same applies from me. Someone who sleeps over at my house and I sleep over at their house. Someone like a brother to me.

A friend to me is someone who always has my back and I will always have theirs. Friendship is a two way street and if I feel like they are using me then it is not friendship to me. What is your definition of a friend?

I do not think so clear definition, but I see a friend as a love between two brothers or two people who love and want to do exactly the same thing.
For example, I very much love my parrot I consider my best friend, after and the food we share every moment.
There are times when we need that friend ... that person or animal that can make us happier.

A true friend is one who will be always with you irrespective of your life situation. He is your inspiration and your guide. Be it pleasure or pain, he will be always by your side. Tue friendship is unconditional; it does not expect anything in return.

For me a friend is someone who is not blood related but still bonds with me, stands with me whether I am suffering or celebrating, is with me during thick and thin. My definition of friend is someone who follows you like your shadow.

Friend is someone who believes in you, who got your back and who is always there for you. He needs to respect you and he must be truly glad when you are happy.

If you mean friend in the real sense of the word, he is someone that I want to be with, a comfortable companion and a reliable friend who cares for me. I am lucky to have married my best friend and after almost 30 years, we still remain to be good friends.

True friends are better than any family person. They are the one with whom we can share anything which we can't even share with our family friends. He is the one who will stay with us in every problem.

A friend is someone who doesn't ignore you, who doesn't betray you, who doesn't judge you and doesn't prefer their other friends. That person should value you equally.

I don't know about others but to few people I try to be a good friend. I believe a good friend should guide you in the right path, give honest opinion, save your neck during a crises and be able to show you reasons behind wasted tears.

I believe in the saying “a friend in need is a friend indeed”. Anybody can be a friend but not a true friend. A friend is one who will help you in times of difficulties and also guide you to overcome the same. You can have friends online or offline, be it your colleague, neighbor, collage mate or whoever it is, but if they are of no use when you face issues in life I won’t call them as true friends.

It is not necessary that your friend offers you monetary help. He can also help you by showing the right path. It is somewhat complex to find true friendship in this every changing world. Everybody is after money, family and friendship take a backseat in the present day hectic lifestyle.
