Hi guys. I am Compulsive, and I have been in this program with my soccer club for a full year now. The goal is to help people, as well as the soccer club, with fundraisers and other events. All the coaches nominate one person who demonstrates a high level of leadership, on and off the field. That person gets an award. All the coaches decided that I was fit for this.

For the past 9 months, I have been helping the under-privileged, younger kids, the disabled, and the mentally ill. It has been a life changing experience. I have shaped as a person in school too I used to be this shy person, and now I am lively.

After being nominated for this, I had to come up with a speech for my experience, and had to say it in front of 145 people, since it was during a fundraiser.

Here is a picture of the award:

Dang, nice! I'm not that much of an outside person. My sister won several awards for HS Volleyball, including nationals. I'm the complete opposite of her, haha.

That's the thing. I was that shy person before I started. I wasn't very social, and really, my only friends were the ones on my team.A bunch of them were doing it, so I decided that I would do it too. Let me tell you, this group was the best thing that has ever happened to me. I can socialize, am fine with speaking in front of people now, and can have a good time, not worrying about who is there to judge me.

Congratulations mate! I play soccer or I prefer to say football, its definitely good being known as a leader in that type of environment.
Make sure you stick to it and do not use it to your advantage. Despite the award, you and everyone else are equal! :)

For my whole life I have always wanted to lead someone/something. I have just been too shy to do this. Thanks for the compliment!
