He was absolutely amazing in the way that he took over.
Brilliant tactics until his downfall during his two-front mistake.
Awful ethics, though.

Again another controversial topic but a very good debate, great post OP as Adolf Hitler’s rise to power in Nazi Germany is nothing less than astounding. In a little over a year, one man completely manipulated an entire government and legal system to acquire a totalitarian regime

He was brilliant in the way he operated. He made his own pseudoscience, and had a systematic way of killing the Jews. He made a "death factory" whereas other genocides were rapes and death marches.
Despite Hitler being a fucked up criminal of a leader, he was a strong and good leader. He rapidly rebuilt Germany's economy, made it one of the world's greatest modern empires, killed thousands of innocent people, and it took the world years to do something about it.
He was an evil man, but he was a smart one.

The only person I can think of worse than Hitler was Josif Mengala, the leader of Auschwitz death camp. He kidnapped small choldren to preform living experiments on them, and attemped many time to create conjpined twins by cutting up and stitching live ones together.
His down fall was the pills he took. If he didn't start taking the hormone pills before the landing in Normandy, he could have won the war easily.
