How do you feel on this topic?

Personally, I think Wars teach lessons if we didn't have war, where would we be in History or on the Earth today. If we had Peace, yes it would be a nice planet to live on. But in all honest if we didn't have War then where would we be at in our Scientific Technologies of Bombs and Guns. War pushed people prove who could be the better person and invent the best things.

- No I don't think Bombs and things of that nature are good, but it helped our World become smarter and brighter than before time.

Thanks,
Aeronix

These are some of the most interesting things history has to offer, if you ask me.
I really got into my studies for World War II. My favorite war, historically, by far.

The same thing applies to the Holocaust. If Hitler didn't cause a genocide then it could happen to us. Remember we had the same government and were as developed as Germany. (USA)

You are Correct with every action, it causes a reaction. That's how we have progressed in modern technology today.

War gives a common objective. The German people had a common objective, they shared a vision with Hitler and so they were strong, nationalistic and less fragmented. A less fragmented society is a stronger one, we shouldn't rely on war to unite us but at times of peace we should share a common objective, for example a space race. Every advanced country in the world should be dreaming of going into space and the countries peoples, and if the people have too much worries to dream about space the Government should help them out and share the dream. When at peace it feels like we are more fragmented because we lose a common objective.

Defiantly a good point if you elaborate more on the subject you would be a KING at this.
