Bob actually played a big role in the liberation of Zimbabwe. During Bob's Zimbabwean Concert, tear gas was thrown on the stage. Everyone, including the audience, security, and band cleared the stage. Bob was the only person to remain on the stage and kept singing for 20-30 minutes until the audience came back and rejoined the celebration.
