Being Dumped Sucks

Everything about getting dumped honestly sucks.
Anyone have any breakup stories they care to share?

My first GF, yeah it was horrible but I was in 7th grade. We're friends now, she has a child so it bothers me still.

Well, I have one, I found out my GF was cheating on me with my bestfriend, I was mad, I was furious at the time I found out, but I thought to myself, instead of making it a big deal, I just told her I'm breaking up with her and walked away. Of course, after that, I met her a couple times during a few meets with some friends, but I wasn't really angry, more of me thinking what I did wrong to have her cheat on me.

I realized after a year of finding more about myself that it wasn't really me, but people do change in the span of time, as they gain more experience in life they change and develop who they really are, whether they could be evil or nice or peculiar or anything, it's just a matter of time.

Tl;DR, well, You break up, you think about it, you realize that people change and sometimes it's not really your fault.

Haven't had a gf in awhile as I knew I was joining the military and young girls today can hardly handle not seeing their bf's for like a week so why waste my time and energy to a girl that can't handle the military life with me.

True to that, Even though im still a student in college, I feel as if girls these days are way too rushed about relationships. Everything has to be fast and action filled, nonetheless, filled with drama.

I'm the "take it slow" kind of person, if you can't even do that much for me, then honestly, I don't feel bad leaving you.

I'm more of the slow type as well and rather not have sex within at least a month of dating. I take it kinda serious but girls these days are to used to their 7th grade relationships.

They are, I find that too often. I attend a recreational class, a class mainly focused on having fun and not worry about life for a second, but all they do in that class is talk about who is who's boyfriend/girlfriend and who have the biggest ass and what not. It bothers me and the 3 other guys and girls that actually bother doing any of the activities.

I feel you, I generally have only quite a few friends who follow my way of life. I have more friends, but they just drink and throw a party, sex afterwards, and repeat. That's all they do, never once have they though about consequences and the probability of failure.

Trust me, I love drinking but not so much parties. But when it comes to girls, I'm serious and want it to count.
