I believe Blackberry will survive because they recently decided to work with Android.  :sleepy: There are people who can't stand using touch screen keyboard and they still prefer a Qwerty keypad.  There is a huge hype to the upcoming Blackberry model known as Blackberry Priv!

Just look at this beauty:

It has the best of both worlds. It works as a touch screen Android device but it also have the a sliding traditional Keypad.  An onscreen keyboard is also an optional feature you can use. This device is getting a lot of rave reviews.

I don't know about their devices but I don't think they will able to survive in industry with how they are going currently. I mean yes they are using now Android operating system in their latest devices. But if we compare the price of the device with other companies devices then Black Berry has really high prices. Now they are giving Android as OS then why to go with such high price tag? The same thing is given by other companies in much less price.

So honestly this is the biggest drawback they are having now. They must launch budget friendly phones if they want to survive.

Iphones and Ipads are more expensive than cars in 3rd world countries and we know Apple survived and it is thriving. Blackberry obviously wanted to stay as a luxury brand. Their Biggest ace at this moment is the Blackberry Priv. By far it is getting a lot of positive reviews.

If blackberry does something revolutionary then I think theyd bounce back. But these tactile keyboard things arent very popular.

Unless they come with some awesome model out they will lose everything :D but I think they will work on some new phone that will be able to challenge the others.

I think they'll survive but I don't see them becoming massively rich off their phones.
