Who is a friend?

My definition of a friend, a person that understands me thorough and thorough that when I mumble or jumble he would understand exactly what is going on and ready to always assist in whatever capacity. A person that I can trust enough to share secrets with and help each other financially and materially. A person that takes my home as an extension of his. A person that calls me by my native name and not some form of nicknames. A person that is always with me when my level is at 0% and when it rises to 100%. A person that would always talk good of me at my back and scold me directly, without meaning any harm, should I derail. A friend is that person that wouldn't join others to downcast me in my absence, he'll fight my course as though it was his. A person that genuinely want me to excel and would pass any information across to me that can be helpful.

My definition of a friend is someone who give me free foods without asking back, much love <3

Do agree with you, but do not forget one thing, that when we believe that friend us is something like a brother, it could be possible to get it wrong a little, yet they are different people in this world and we must be careful in who we trust.

My definition of a friend is someone who is there for you through thick and thin. This is what I thought I had known until things started to go downhill for me, I found out who was really a so-called 'friend' to me. Let me say it's a lonely world. I now use the word 'friend' very lightly. I actually thank goodness for everything coming out that way I know exactly who to trust.

A friend is someone is loyal to you, ready to take your side when someone is roasting you, someone who laughs at your joke even when they are not funny, someone who tells you the truth no matter what, someone who invites you and like to spend most free time with you and someone who Would never betray you no matter what.

To me a friend is someone that wants me to do as good as them, e.g they would want us to both get rich instead of just them getting rich.

I would only class about 10 people I know as friends & the rest of the people I know as acquaintances as I don't see them on a daily basis.

I have no definition for a friend. I mean everyone else who has my trust is a friend for me. I do think it's something that's personal and varies from person to person.

For me a friend is someone who is not blood related but still bonds with me, stands with me whether I am suffering or celebrating, is with me during thick and thin. My definition of friend is someone who follows you like your shadow.

True, a friend should be someone who isn't blood related but can accept them as one.

Very true. I've had many ''friends'' that become envious when something good happens to me in instead of them. They should be happy for their friend. At that point, they aren't friends.

Yes. When you're down and out, that is when your true friends reveal themselves and it's sometimes unexpected.

A real friend is someone who won't judge you or betray you. Someone you can be yourself around and will always be there for you. Anyone who will stick around through thick and thin.
