I'm 15 and I am asked to watch over the house alone all the time. I'm not scared of anything. And please, do give me the source from which your brilliant 90% statistic came from. Which professional Sociologist declared that 90% of 15 year olds are scared to stay home alone, I would absolutely love to know.
would you like a cookie? Im not talking about you specifically , most teenagers are not mature enough to control a vehicle that could kill in seconds.. Look it up, im sure you can find some stats :)

I am sure there is statistics, but it's nowhere near fucking 90%. That's made up and you know it. lol

Do research before making broad statements like that.

I'm from the UK and legal driving age is 17. I actually think this is too young and the limit should be raised to 20. A lot of people would disagree, but just look at how many teenage boy racers are crashing and injuring and sometimes killing innocent people. If you make the legal age 20, they have had enough time to mature.

I think it should be 16 or 18 and they would have to be sufficient on the tests. Some people are bad drivers & some are good.

There is little to no difference between the average 17 year old and an average 20 year old. I think the legal driving age anywhere should be 15-16, and as long as they pass the tests, and seem to know the dangers of racing and driving like a maniac, they should have the legal consent to drive a vehicle.

I'm 17 and on my drivers license right now, but I like the idea of raising the age limit to 21-23. There is little need for anyone younger to be driving and I also don't like the idea of other 17 year olds driving IMO.

The reason that accident rates and such are lower at higher ages is because of driving experience. Driving experience = less accidents. Raising the driving age will just move the statistic up the ladder.

I think the driving age as it is is fine (In my state: 14 for Farm License, 15 for Driving Permit, 16 for Intermediate License, 18 for Full license). At 16 you are able to work, and may teenagers are getting jobs , so they must have a way to travel to and from work. Some are involved in outside of school classes and need to be able to drive to different locations, so the reasoning for them to be able to drive is there.

In our state it is 15 for a drivers permit, 16 for license. I think you hit that point where you really rethink about being stupid and be responsible.

I think it should be 15. I personally am 14 and I just started drivers training. I had my first drive today and did fine. I do not think that it should be 18. It is to long of a wait. But I am fine waiting until I am 16 to get my license.
