I have the moto 3 and I'm satisfied with the battery.

If I use it at a normal rate it lasts 1-2 days.

Galaxy A5, good to listen to music offline, if online (spotify/soundcloud/youtube etc.) the battery is horrible.

Even though we have advanced a lot in the matter of sophisticated smartphones we haven’t done anything worthwhile in the matter of battery life. We are almost there where we began. In fact the situation is somewhat deteriorating with the advent of power hungry smartphones. I wonder why phone manufacturers are not focusing more on battery life which is the need of the hour. A new model with a great battery backup could definitely win hearts of smartphone users. I think they should explore something like an inbuilt solar battery.

As in my case if you live in an area where the signal strength is very low your smartphone battery is not going to live for more than a few hours. I use a normal phone to beat this situation.

I am frustrated with my phone's battery. My phone is less than one year old, however, I have to charge my phone every day. Sometimes when I play games, watch videos, listen to music or surf the internet, I will have to charge my phone twice a day

I own an iPhone 6 and I am overall satisfied with the battery performance. Of course the battery duration is based on software, hardware and environment factors.

Software as in Operating System resources that draw battery power as well as how much battery power an app consumes.
Hardware as in how large battery capacity there is as well as how much power demanding a device is.
Environmental factors as in how hot or cold is outside (too hot = overheat).
