Because I don't really want to be apart of a religion. Yeah I think god might of existed but he was probably just like one very famous king type of person. Other then that I really could care less about religions and what not.

Oh and cause my mom said "no"

Why would you not want to be part of the religion, if you don't mind me asking.

Too much work. People judge you. I don't want to be judged.

Elaborate on too much work? I balance my religion, job and school with free time - I dont see how its time consuming

To much work? Son what in the blue hell are you talking about? The only work evolved is the work you want to put in, and there is no greater reward than what you will get out, now that being said, I don't think it's the work you are worried about but the lack of knowledge towards religion,

For one, there are things in the bible I know for sure is man made.

There are just things in the bible I simply disagree with.
It dosen't seem to be what a omni creator would want or do.

Yes, there are some stories which are made up to illustrate certain points about god.

If you are talking about people's death , he gave people free will.

There may be a higher power but for me I'm a little on the fence

It's asking for blind faith in something you can't see/hear/feel/touch and you're just supposed to accept that he works in mysterious ways? That bad things continuously happen to good people to test their faith. So if there is a God and you believe in him why would he try and test you? You already believe, why shake the faith?

And then I am met with well he tests you so he can give you better blessings..is not being a good person enough? Is not going out of your way to help someone not good enough?

There is too much bad happening to people that I know are honestly good for their to be a God testing them.

On the other hand I feel that maybe if I did believe, things would line up for me.

Supposedly. I don't believe, but I don't not believe....if that makes sense.

Going to church every Sunday? Ya rite. I like to catch up on sleep on the weekends. I don't see the point of going somewhere to read a book. Meanwhile I can do the same thing at home but I don't like reading at home anyways. Therefore I could care less about religion as I don't need to be side tracked even more.

This is honestly the same thing I said. You don't have to go sit in Church to read the Bible, that you could do it at home. Besides most people go to church now to show off their clothing. Or to compare cars or who has the new what....
