Its not the point, its the fact that religion works like this, If you believe in something that the other religions don't they will say you are wrong because they don't want to be wrong. Plus you can't really 'update' the bible as alot of it revolves around stories and things that happened during the bible.

You are really getting ignorant now, where in the bible do Christians torture the mentally impaired? Infact there is a story in the bible where a group of men hoist their severely disabled friend through a roof onto jesus's lap essentially and he heals him and lets him walk - There is no torture or killing there.
